Pinky Toe

Yesterday I got up from the couch to go clean up the kitchen. I hopped over Ryan and yelled "BOYFRIEND ROOOON!" (which is what I sometimes call Ryan.) I slipped on a magazine on the floor and fell right over! I was running toward the kitchen so I fell kinda hard. I just sat there for a second. Ryan asked me if I was okay and I said yes. Then he said "weirdo", and I started to cry! hahahaaha!!!! I got very embarassed for being so silly and falling and then Ryan calling me Weirdo. I was totally fine like 2 minutes later. But I did hurt my lil pinky toe! It's still sore today and I was trying to figure out if it looked swollen or not. I wonder if I sprained it or something? I'm probably just being dramatic! But it does hurt. :-/ I still feel so silly!

If I only had a million dollars!!!

I wish I could buy all of this stuff, but I'd have to have a lotta money!!! :) Still fun to think about though.

Cutest yellow shirt ever from Anthropologie. Check out the detail in the 2nd picture. I love it!!! (98 bucks!!!)

Blue Steve Madden shoes ($69.90)

I saw this swimsuit last year and I LOVE IT! It's from unique-vintage . com
It's $142 bucks and the only size is stock is XS. Ummm, nope!

I want a couch like this with a little chaise-like thing attached at one side. This particular one is from Ikea and it folds out into a bed. Sweet! It's $699

This massage chair makes me drool. It's from Hammacher Schlemmer and it's "only" $4999.95 :(

I WANT A HOUSE. And one that's pretty for a good price. This one is actually in Paradise and it's $220,000 but it's already in escrow. :( I LOVE the rocks on the front of the house, the sweeeet bathtub and the fact that there's a fireplace in the BEDROOM as well as the living room! It's also really big. I need it. Actually, I need it, but in Chico, and for cheaper.

Lyndsey's Oscar Special

I thought it would be fun to tell you my fashion opinions on some of the stuff people chose to wear at the Academy Awards last night. I'm a closet fashion-fan, even if it doesn't always show in what I wear! (Having a perfect body and lots of money make it a LOT easier to be fashionable, you know!). Enjoy.

BEST DRESSED:

Sandra Bullock (Won for leading role in The Blindside -yayyy!) BEAUTIFUL dress. I actually saw her on a "worst dressed" list somewhere - they said that she looked like an ice skater! I know what they mean about the top part of the dress, but there's NO WAY she should be on a worst dressed list!!! This dress looked amazing on her. I also think her hair looked shiny & healthy and the style was very elegant. I don't think everyone can pull off red lipstick, but she looked great in it!

The color of Queen Latifah's dress went beautifully with her skin tone. This silhouette looks good on her, and I love the glittery accents. I'm not usually a fan of her hairstyles, but I guess it could be worse! The dress is a WIN.

Miley Cyrus pulled off this dress really well. I think the cut of this dress really fits her body. I always prefer a long gown even on the young ones. The color is kind of pale but I still think it looks great on her. Now if only she would never open her mouth!

Helen Mirren always dresses very age appropriate, but in a way that makes her look younger. I love her necklace! She looks great.

I liked Maggie Gyllenhaal's dress and makeup. It stood out among all of the frilliness on the red carpet. It's sleek and makes her look tall and thin. The dress itself is almost a piece of art. Her light pink lipstick made her face look fresh and youthful.

I really liked the style of dress that Sigourney Weaver wore last night at the oscars. I think it's age appropriate and elegant. I probably would've chosen a different color for her like a saturated blue or even green. I also think she should grow out her hair!

I thought that Gabourey Sidebe chose a great red carpet dress. The color looks great on her. Also, her body is admittedly probably a difficult one to dress, but I think they did a good job choosing flattering options. The neckline is great, and the sleeves also do a pretty good job of camoflauging her arms. I'm glad she didn't go with the classic oprah style of long sleeves even though it hides the arms because that style is much more appropriate for someone older. Way to go, Gabby and congrats on the oscar nomination!

Cameron Diaz's dress was beautiful! It compliments her blonde hair color, the cut of the dress is awesome, and the shine and glitter really makes it stand out! I didn't love her in the red lipstick this time for some reason.

Could be better...

I saw Kate Winslet on a "best dressed" list. Um, no. I mean, I love her but this dress is BORRRRRING. Understandably, she was a presenter and not a nominee but that doesn't mean you should wear the most boring thing ever. The top is okay, and then the bottom looks like her designer didn't finish the dress so they just threw a sheet around her. Also, her roots were growing out and it didn't look good at all.

I have to say that i do love this style of dress where the bustline is. The criss-cross action is SO flattering. But the dress itself looks like she accidentally spilled the cup of water that she was rinsing her watercolor paintbrushes in all over herself. Plus, her hair is kinda weird. But she's still a very pretty girl.

Penelope Cruz looks wonderful in this color and I don't think she looke dhorrible in this dress at all. I just really hate the top of it how one side goes higher than the other. It makes her boobs look lopsided and weird. I've just seen her in much better dresses. Her hair (at least from the front) looks un-styled but her eye makeup is pretty.

Oh, Mariah. What can I say? Again, this dress isn't HORRIBLE. But at the same time, it's nothing special either. My biggest complaint is that this chick CANNOT seem to bring herself to wear something covered up. Everything she wears is either too low cut, too short, or too tight. In this case, I would've really liked the dress but because of her personality and past styles, the thigh high slit just BUGS me.

This dress is age appropriate and the neckline is flattering. Sure, she doesn't look bad in this dress, but the dress itself is just UGLY and BORING. It doesn't make her body look bad at all, but it just looks kind of like a fancy robe or something. I don't love it.
Worst Dressed
This is just ugly. I hate it. And I don't care enough to look up her name.
Oh J-Lo. yes, we know you have a big butt. You don't have to paint on your dresses anymore! This dress made her look fat, frankly, through the butt and hip area. The big fluff off of the hip is just ugly. The color is boring. I just hate it.
When you see Zoe Saldana's dress from the waist up, it's not that bad. And then you see the bottom and you wonder WHAT THE HELL SHE WAS THINKING. This dress is ugly... too much. I hate it. Her shoes need to be burned.
SJP. Ugly dress on an ugly girl. I don't know why people like her or her fashion! Sorry for all of you SJP fans, but c'mon. No. The neck strap? Hideous. The big floral blob just beneath the neck strap? Ugly. The cut of the dress and the weird, saggy back area? God-awful. This is a big huge FAIL. Even the color is boring.
WHAT is this woman WEARING? It looks like one of those nightmare bridesmaid dresses you'd see on one of those websites or in a movie or something. You look... like a freak. I didn't really like her in Up in the Air, either. George was hot.
Charlize. Yes, you have big flowers on your boobs. Whatever. Lame. (Color's nice though)
Dudes
K, I'm sure it's really difficult to have ANY kind of personal style when it comes to being a GUY and having to dress up fancy. But, I think it's just something that they're going to have to just accept! I mean, check out these losers!
K, "T-bone"... first of all, you're way too old to have that nickname. Also, don't EVER wear sunglasses INSIDE; especially those ugly ones. You look old and lame. John Travolta... you don't wear JEANS to a red carpet event! I don't care if they're designer and cost hundreds of dollars. You are underdressed. Ahh, Bradley Cooper. My boyfriend. :) Sorry, but you look like a butler. Don't even get me started on Robert Downey Jr. I don't know if you can tell in this picture, but his sunglasses are BLUE to match his bow-tie. As if the blue bow-tie isn't bad enough on it's own. and again, don't mix fancy with casual. Your tennis shoes have GOT to go!
Now, these guys know how to do it. First dude, I don't know your name but you did a great job of just choosing a REGULAR black suit with a TIE which I much prefer over a bow-tie. I also like the black-on-black style that Hairy Williams chose to wear. It looks really sleek and professional. I kinda like the goatee on him, too. And third guy, I don't remember your name but I will just call you "Minkowski from Lost". Here is another example of just a simple black suit, jacket isn't too long, tie instead of bowtie, pants aren't too tight. Win.
THIS? IS THE SCARIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN.
THE END.
